VIBEKE HARPER (b. 78) is a Norwegian conceptual artist, writer, and translator.
She's based in Oslo (Norway) and Ramallah (Palestine).
Her work explores the Western identity, it's narratives and and hypocrisy,
through subjects such as land and human rights, power structures and
hierarchy.
The Israeli settler-colonial occupation of Palestine – and the Norwegian / Western facilitation of it – has had a major influence on her life and work in the past decades.

Harper is the Co-Artistic Director of the artivism collective Motforestillinger (Counteract), which she runs in collaboration with Marius Kolbenstvedt in Oslo, and a member of the Advisory Board
at TAQS Theatre School, founded and run by Petra Barghouti and Eid Aziz, Ramallah.
Currently, she is also finishing a BA in Aesthetics at the University in Oslo.
